Pre-school – 3rd Grade:

  • Black tap shoes

  • Pink ballet shoes

  • Tan jazz shoes (not the dance sneaker) – 2nd-3rd graders only

  • Any solid colored leotard

  • Pink tights with feet

  • No big tutus or non-dance skirts for class.

  • For Hip Hop, you may wear shorts, sweatpants, leggings, and a t-shirt over your leotard.

Beginning the 2012-2013 dance year, it is preferred that all dance shoes for pre-school through 3rd grade are purchased through the studio. This is to insure the class looks uniformed. If you have new dance shoes not purchased through the studio but the correct color, you will not be required to purchase new ones (through the studio) until needed or until the recital. Students are required to have the specific shoes for the annual recital.

4th Grade and older:

  • Black lace up tap shoes

  • Pink split-sole ballet shoes

  • Tan split-sole jazz shoes (not the dance sneaker)

  • Any color leotard and tights (preferably tan, black, or pink tights)

  • Pink ballet tights must be worn during ballet classes

  • For Hip Hop, you may wear shorts, sweatpants, leggings, and a t-shirt over your leotard.

Beginning the 2012-2013 dance year, these shoes will be available to order/purchase at the dance studio. However, students 4th grade and older have the option to purchase shoes at another dancewear store.

**Hair must be pulled back out of the student’s face in a ponytail or a bun. Students 4th grade and older who are taking ballet are required to wear their hair in a bun. We prefer students do not were any shirt over leotards for ballet class for 4th grade and older.

**NO t-shirts, shorts, tutus, sweatpants, or street clothes (except for hip hop) will be allowed.

Optional:

  • Dance skirt for ballet

  • Dance pants for jazz & tap

Please label all dance attire and shoes with the student’s name.**
